ADV « AUTOUR D'UN VERRE « ( OVER A DRINK ).
I have worked on this project for five years. I spent two years during which, every day, I visited bars just to observe. I went to the most disreputable bars in the cities, exploring souls, caricaturing recurrent objects, more often than not creating an enclosed, dark space.
The results of all this are to be found in 800 savage, grotesque drawings, for the most part pencil drawings or in Indian ink.
